Need some last minute gift ideas for a friend or family member that is working on getting off the hamster wheel? I recently gave the No More Dreaded Mondays to a friend and little did I know it would be the book that would help put the pieces together. Below are my favorite books that I have read (except one) and that are on my bookshelf and that have helped me get off the hamster wheel.
Here are some of my favorite’s:

Start: Punch Fear in the Face, Escape Average and Do Work That Matters

The 4-Hour Workweek, Expanded and Updated: Expanded and Updated, With Over 100 New Pages of Cutting-Edge Content.
Written by Timothy Ferriss. This is the only book I haven’t read yet (and don’t ask me why because I would love a 4 hour work week). But based on reviews and friends that have read the book it’s a great one for anyone wanting to work less by working smarter.
Moleskine Evernote Smart Notebook Squared Pocket
This notebook is my new best friend together with the EverNote app (available both for iPhone and Android). It helps me keep everything in one spot. It syncs with your computer so you can go from phone to computer and have it all right there. The moleskin notebook is especially made to work with the phone app. Write with a pen, take a photo and voila, it’s on your phone and computer without having to type it.
Amazon Gift Card – E-mail (any amount). What better says “I care about you” than an Amazon gift card? Give your friend or family member the option to pick their own gift. Great for that last minute gift as well.
